An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen within our Records Management service for a Records Management Assistant.
In this position, you will join a small, friendly team and support the smooth running of the service by undertaking various administrative tasks. Working with the Assistant Records Manager, you will help provide a high-quality, efficient records management service to teams across Herefordshire Council, including retrieving paper records from storage, preparing files for scanning, and assisting with audits. You will also support the wider Information Governance team, including facilitating access to files and preparing files for information requests.
If you are interested in developing a career in records management, this role offers a great starting point. Prior administrative experience is beneficial but not essential. We seek someone with good communication skills, an understanding of handling confidential information, and the ability to meet deadlines, plan workloads, and prioritize tasks effectively.
