Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated individual, ideally with an engineering background, for this Trainee Field Engineer role, which involves installing and configuring data equipment on the Wastewater network. This is a full-time, permanent position with an outstanding company that will provide full training, a vehicle, and the necessary equipment for the role. You will become a fully trained Field Engineer and receive training in other specialist areas of the company's business.
Trainee Field Engineer – Benefits
* A starting salary of £26,000 per annum
* Salaries increase every 6 months during training, quickly rising to £30,000 per annum
* Salaries continue to rise based on progression and performance

Daily Activities
* Driving between sites and working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Lifting, carrying, and moving equipment and chamber covers
* Entry into and working within confined spaces
* Installing and maintaining various mechanical instrumentation
The Candidate
* Full manual driving license is essential
* No prior experience necessary; training will be provided
* Previous electrical or mechanical experience is advantageous
* Experience as a field engineer is useful
* Relevant academic qualifications, e.g., BTEC Engineering or BTEC Electrical, are advantageous
* Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn during training
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and clients
* Flexibility to meet business needs
