We have an opportunity within HSBC Channel Islands (CIIOM) business for a 3rd Party Risk Officer
Third Party Risk Officer (TPRO) is part of the Chief Control Office within the Chief Operating Office and supports the CIIOM Entity on all aspects of management reporting, governance, risk oversight and administration for the implementation and ongoing management of the HSBC Third Party Risk Policy Framework and associated activities.
The team deliver and contribute to the adherence of local Third Party and Outsourcing policies and processes, procedures and tools supporting the Third Party 'Framework'. 3rd Party arrangements are generally any services or products that are provided by external suppliers. The role provides risk management support, subject matter expertise and direction for Third Party Risk related activities and issues.
In this role you will:
* Act as the point of contact for Third Party Risk Management related matters on behalf of CIIOM.
* Review and analysis MI and translate key information, producing, papers and trends to key stakeholders and relevant Governance Committees/Forums.
* Review and monitor Third Party Risk related issues across CIIOM, including delivery performance of material Third Parties.
* Support Third Party initiatives to enable CIIOM Entity to operate efficiently
* Balance priorities to ensure delivery of tasks whilst managing stakeholder relationships
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Good awareness of how HSBC operates in relation to Risk such as Fraud, Customer Due Diligence, Know Your Customer etc
* Confident in dealing with a wide range of internal stakeholders comprising the 3rd party service & product owners.
* Experience of working with data - analyse and interpret and reach conclusions.
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required for the role; advanced knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint is desirable.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills, with an ability to learn quickly.
This role is based in the Channel Islands - Guernsey, Jersey or Isle of Man. To comply with local Right to Work regulations this role is open to CIIOM residents only.
