The Finance Assistant (AP) will play a vital role in supporting the accounts payable function within the property industry. This permanent position in Reading offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional accounting and finance department.

Description

* Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Manage payment runs and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
* Assist with month-end processes, including preparing relevant reports.
* Respond to supplier queries and maintain strong professional relationships.
* Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
* Support the wider accounting and finance team as required.
* Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.


Profile

A successful Finance Assistant (AP) should have:

* A strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
* Experience working within the property industry or a similar sector.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
* A professional attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
