We are now recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our team and support us in servicing our clients effectively. As our Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the operation of the business, both in accounting and administrative areas. Your responsibilities will include: * Bookkeeping for VAT returns and accounts preparation * Managing payrolls and CIS returns * Preparing and filing tax returns for sole traders and company directors * Maintaining client’s records and compliance of money laundering regulations * Clients handling for day to day operations Person Profile Education, Experience and Skills: * Degree in accountancy or AAT qualified * Minimum 2/3 years practice experience with in-depth knowledge of latest accounting and taxation regimes * Proficient in accounting software skills, like Quickbooks, Xero, TaxCalc, etc. * Good IT skills * Strong analytical and numerical skills * Interpersonal and communication skills, good command of written and spoken English * Team player * Time management * Self-motivated and organised This is a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career in accountancy!
