We are recruiting an enthusiastic team of Accommodation Support Officers to provide welfare, safety, and practical support to students aged 16 and over in our 104-bed halls of residence and host family accommodation. The role involves liaising with student residents, ensuring security, safety, wellbeing, and organizing events.
Are you responsible, able to work independently, flexible, fair, reliable, and trustworthy? Do you have experience working with young people? If so, you could be the person we are looking for.
This casual vacancy requires out-of-office hours work, including weekends and bank holidays, on a flexible rota basis, as we are staffed 24/7. Working patterns include Waking Nights from 22:00 to 08:30. Applicants must be routinely available to work these hours. While primarily based at Brooksby College, some flexibility may be needed to work occasional shifts at Loughborough College Accommodation to ensure both sites are adequately staffed.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over, have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English (e.g., GCSE grades A-C), and participate in induction training prior to shift allocation. Please note that no accommodation is provided with this role.
