Your role:
Wesleyan are seeking an experienced Lead Investment Strategy Manager to join our Investment Strategy team. You will design, manage and support the customer Investment Fund proposition in line with our Product Strategy. You will ensure we have an optimal fund proposition and operating model, supporting the Asset Owner and the Product Strategy team through design, implementation, and ongoing governance of the proposition in line with business plans. You will work closely with the Director of Product, Group Strategic Product Manager and Senior Investment Product Manager and will have line management responsibility of one colleague.
What you’ll be doing:
· Designing and managing our customer fund and investment proposition working with the Head of Investment Strategy, Group Strategic Product Manager, Senior Investment Product Manager, Group Strategy and Group Marketing
· Project managing future fund proposition changes including fund launches and closures.
· Overseeing the management of Statements of Investment Principles (including SAA), as well as Asset Owner Investment Beliefs, ESG policy etc.
· Managing the current fund proposition from fund launch through the fund life-cycle including related fund governance, regulatory expectations.
· Managing the production of customer facing documentation relating to funds (e.g. Fund Factsheets, KIID reviews, Prospectus reviews, AoV reports)
· Reviewing fund performance and monitor funds through post launch to ensure benefits are realised
· Supporting distribution of funds, working with our tied advisors and Marketing on proposals/campaigns to increase distribution in line with business objectives.
· Developing and building a strong working knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements and changes and ensuring that these are incorporated to all product activity.
We’re looking for:
· Experience in fund propositions, governance and asset ownership
· Experience in product management, with a focus on investment and fund solutions
· Strong understanding of the investment and platform market, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
· Strong understanding of emerging regulatory trends
· Proven ability to maintain successful fund and investment governance
