About the Role
As a Naval Architect / Floating Systems Design Engineer at Tadek, you’ll join our UK-based Naval Architecture team to support the delivery of engineering work across the offshore project lifecycle — from concept and FEED through to detailed design, analysis and offshore installation support. You’ll work across a diverse range of offshore energy projects, contributing to hydrodynamic modelling, stability assessments, mooring analysis and transportation studies, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients and stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities
* Perform hydrodynamic modelling and analysis of vessels and floating bodies
* Support the design and analysis of floating and fixed offshore structures
* Undertake stability, transportation and installation assessments
* Develop and validate mooring system models and analyses
* Prepare clear, high-quality technical reports and engineering documentation
* Collaborate with internal teams, clients and suppliers to deliver project outcomes
Education & Experience
* Master’s of Engineering/Science in Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering
* 0–8 years of professional experience in Naval Architecture or offshore engineering (0+ – Graduate, 1‑5 years – Junior, 5‑8 years – Intermediate)
* Experience in a consulting or offshore energy environment is desirable
* Fluent English (spoken and written)
Skills
* Experience with hydrodynamic, stability and mooring analysis
* Familiarity with tools such as OrcaFlex, AQWA, Maxsurf, Rhino or similar
* Experience with Python or similar for engineering analysis is desirable
* Strong technical report writing and communication skills
* Familiarity with offshore code and standards

* Location: Woking, Surrey (office base with hybrid/remote flexibility).
* Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week). Additional hours may be required during project execution phases.
* Travel: International travel including offshore/off-site locations may be required.
