Responsibilities and Qualifications
Your role will be both hands-on and problem-solving oriented, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to ensure customer equipment operates at peak efficiency. You will also oversee preventative maintenance, conducting essential check-ups to keep the fleet running smoothly.
Being located at a resident customer site, you’ll service Linde forklifts and other state-of-the-art material handling equipment, build strong relationships, and deliver exceptional service and support while upholding Linde’s reputation.
We are interested in candidates with experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly those who have worked as forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or vehicle technicians. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.
* Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, though this is not essential.
* Experience with IT systems to record and place orders is essential.
* You will need a full UK driving licence.
* As a Linde engineer you will need to be comfortable working autonomously and within a team.
