Hourly rate - 19.15 (depending on experience)
Day Shifts
Hours per week: 36.75 - Monday-Friday, have to be able to cover weekends occasionally.

Requirements for the Clinical Lead Nurse role:
You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN /RNLD)
Valid NMC Pin
Clear DBS
Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
Proven track record of leading a Nursing team and delivery of person-centred care, including care planning
About the Nursing Home:
As a clinical lead you will be running the clinical team of a 10 bedded service, specialising in learning disabilities, mental health and complex nursing needs. Our client has a nursing team of 5 nurses, who will need assistance in preceptorships, probationary periods, revalidation of Pins and registration, up to date training and guidance of how to manage the team and assist with management duties.
Nursing skills preferably specialisation in Learning disabilities or experience with learning disabilities. Able to consider general and mental health trained nurses depending on experience and ability to adapt.
Driving licence preferred but not necessary
The role of a Clinical Lead Nurse within the Nursing Home involves:
Carrying responsibility for the management of the nursing services in liaison with the Care Home Manager
Taking a leadership role for your team by ensuring staff skills are managed, supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the business.
Promoting and maintaining a high standard of nursing care including the home environment.
Ensuring effective induction of new nursing staff and provide ongoing clinical supervision of trained staff
Working within the NMC Code and CQC standards alongside internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice guidance.
Planning, directing and delivering high-quality person-centred care through the care planning process, championing independence and person choice.
Overseeing aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered.
Monitoring the quality of nursing care provided through effective auditing and undertaking of corrective action as required by the Care Home Manager.
Undertaking staff reviews through supervision, annual appraisal and team meetings.
Maintaining accurate and relevant documentation and reports to reflect practice and planned development.
