Business Development Manager (BDM) - Exeter
Full-time. Compensation: £35,875 per year, OTE £53,875 uncapped.
We are a leading digital marketing partner for local businesses, helping them reach new goals in a fast-growing sector.
About the Role
* Hunting for New Business: Proactively prospect via self‑sourced and company‑provided leads.
* Tailoring Solutions: Conduct face‑to‑face and virtual consultations to understand customer needs and offer digital marketing solutions.
* Closing Deals: Present, negotiate and secure agreements with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth.
* Client Management: Nurture relationships, ensuring a seamless customer experience and account management for up to 12 months post‑sale.
* Data Analysis: Conduct in‑depth reviews to identify growth opportunities and improve client ROI.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in sales (Field Sales or High‑Performing Telesales).
* Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
* Resilience and a positive outlook when overcoming objections.
* Excellent presentation skills—both verbal and written.
* Experience in solution selling or SaaS (desirable but not essential).
* A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
