🎓 Training: Previous experience in a care setting desired but not essential as full training will be provided.
✨ Personal Carer for 15-Year-Old Girl with Cerebral Palsy ✨
We are looking for a caring, reliable and patient Personal Carer to support our 15-year-old daughter, who has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. This is a rewarding role supporting her daily routine, independence, and overall wellbeing.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Helping with personal care
2. Supporting mobility and transfers
3. Helping with daily activities and routines
4. Offering companionship and encouragement
5. Accompanying her to appointments, activities, or outings (driver preferred)
6. Working in a small team and alongside parents
7. Attending hospital appointments alongside parents or other care staff
8. Some light household cleaning
9. Laundry
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
10. Kind, patient and trustworthy
11. Confident working with young people
12. Willing to learn and follow care plans
13. Reliable with good communication skills
14. Happy to work as part of a family-centred support team
15. Able to be fun and creative
