Job Description:
Summary of Role: You will lead the sales and proposal process for water mist project inquiries, assessing requirements, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with internal teams. A strong understanding of sprinkler/water mist systems, analytical skills, and effective communication are essential.
Responsibilities include:
* Responding to inquiries and updating CRM
* Developing technical specifications and proposals
* Reviewing customer documentation for accurate quotations
* Liaising with design engineers and project teams
* Analyzing project risks
* Producing and submitting quotations
* Engaging with clients to gather feedback and improve proposals
* Interacting professionally with clients to enhance satisfaction and sales opportunities
Requirements:
* Technical experience in sprinkler/water mist system design
* Experience in developing technical quotations/bids
* Understanding of construction programs, regulations, and standards
* Creative approach and positive customer relationship skills
* Strong commercial awareness and numerical skills
* Experience in sales/estimating in fire protection industry (preferred)
* Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Attention to detail and efficiency
* Proven IT skills, including MS Office; Autocad skills are a plus
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Outgoing personality and professional client engagement skills
* Ability to present proposals face-to-face or remotely
* Experience with end users, insurers, and main contractors
