Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners, ensuring their developmental needs are met while fostering their growth and learning.
Responsibilities
* Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
* Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support effective communication and collaboration.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents.
* Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods.
* Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively.
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and colleagues clearly and effectively.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for potential transport duties related to nursery outings or activities.
* A nurturing attitude with the ability to inspire confidence in young learners.
