We are inviting applications from qualified social workers, (who are registered with Social Work England) with a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience in a Social Work role. The role is full time Monday to Friday with 3 days in the office. The role will consist of you working with a range of individuals and carers to assess their needs in accordance with the Care Act 2014. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a strength based person centred way supporting individuals to achieve good outcomes. You must also be able to manage a varied case load and thrive in a fast paced environment and able to work within a team and autonomously as required. Supervision will be provided in accordance with the departments supervision policy and you will benefit from working in a council who are committed to ongoing training and career progression. This post carries a market rate supplement of £2,000pa pro rata (subject to review), plus welcome and retention payments.
