Qualifications
* Proven experience working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst
* Competent in working in accordance with UKAS and HSG guidelines
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Highly proficient in using IT software (e.g., Microsoft applications)
* Minimum BOHS P401 ticket required; we also accept P402, P403, P404 or S301 CCP
* Able to prioritise own workload and meet set targets
Responsibilities
* Analysing ACM samples through stereo‑microscopy and PLM methods
* Confirming presence and type of asbestos fibres within samples
* Receiving samples from site, logging and storing them correctly
* Updating internal databases with results
* Issuing analytical certificates to clients
* Working to set company and personal targets
* Maintaining lab equipment
* Carrying out quality assurance checks and audits
* Supporting the company in maintaining UKAS accreditation
