Founded in 1999, Dental Sky has rapidly grown and recently moved to a new building which gives the company room for further growth. We are looking to expand our regulatory team and take on an enthusiastic quality assistant to join our established quality team.
Role objective
To help ensure the company complies with its regulatory commitments with special regards to MHRA WDA(H) registration.
Responsibilities
* Assist in ensuring that Dental Sky’s Quality Management System (QMS) is continuously reviewed and kept up to date.
* Assist the Quality Manager in maintaining company’s QMS records and files in compliance with GDP and all applicable Wholesale Distribution Regulations.
* Keep up to date with current MHRA guidance and any regulatory changes.
* Cooperating with the Responsible Person (RP) on all GDP Quality matters.
* Assist with developing new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Assist the Quality Manager with preparations for conducting self-inspections.
* Assist the Quality Manager with preparations for internal Staff training (GDP and SOPs).
* Conducting inventory checks
* Assist with quarantine of returned stock and non-conforming inventory.
* Assist with appropriate disposal and destruction of unusable inventory.
* Conducting customer and supplier bona fide checks.
* Conducting checks for MHRA suspensions and revocations of supplier and customer licences.
* Recording of deviations, complaints, change controls and CAPA’s.
* Assist with carrying out Risk Assessments.
* Responding to product recalls and carrying out mock recall exercises with Quality Manager.
* Carrying out temperature mapping exercises.
* Conducting Transport route qualification exercises.
* Participating in Quality Meetings.
* Assist the RP with Quality matters when the Quality Manager is on annual leave or out of the office.
Requirements & Preferrable Skills
* 2 years+ experience in an administrative role.
* Experience and/or knowledge of Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical regulation is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Understanding of record keeping best practice.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
