Project Manager – Wind Farm (Civils & Earthworks)
Location: Newtown, North Wales
Duration: Until late 2027

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a major wind farm development in North Wales, delivering a long-term scheme running through to the back end of 2027.
The first 12 months of the project will be heavily focused on civils and infrastructure works, including roads, drainage, and associated groundworks. This role will suit a hands-on Project Manager with strong experience in self-delivery environments.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing day-to-day site operations with a focus on self-delivery
Overseeing civils packages including roads, drainage, and infrastructure
Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and plant resources
Driving programme, quality, and commercial performance
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Liaising with stakeholders and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering
Strong background in civils projects (earthworks experience desirable but not essential)
Experience working in self-delivery environments
Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Ability to manage programmes, costs, and site teams effectively
