Highland Health and Social Care Services provide help and assistance for people from all walks of life, their families, and carers. The post holder will provide assistance to the Care at Home Officer to support and supervise a team of Senior Health & Social Care Support Workers within the community to deliver a high standard of holistic care to individuals and their families / carers.
Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day professional support to Senior Health & Social Care Support Workers.
* Carry out practice observations and 1‑2‑1 supervision.
* Assist staff in ensuring compliance with mandatory training and professional registration.
* Undertake regular service user reviews for the in‑house Care at Home Service, independent sector providers and the wider integrated team.
* Assist in the delivery of a person‑centred Care at Home service to meet assessed needs and personal outcomes in line with the Health and Social Care Standards and Scottish Social Services Council codes.
* Work within the wider integrated multi‑disciplinary team.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of working in a Health & Social Care setting.
* Full, clean driving licence.
* SVQ3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
* Good understanding of general office practice and procedure.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Respect for confidentiality.
Hours will be Monday 09.00–17.00, Tuesday 09.00–15.30, Wednesday and Thursday 12.00–20.00 and Friday 09.00–17.00. Additional hours also available through the integrated staff bank.
