About Us
The day centre is committed in offering social isolation for the elderly population promoting Rights Independence, Fulfilment, and Choice.
We are seeking applicants that will embed the values of Middlesbrough Council and will be passionate about the service that we provide, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who be able to work as part of a team.
The successful applicant will be supporting our vulnerable service users with all aspects of daily living. Carrying out personal care, feeding, administrating /assisting with medication. Supporting a daily activity programme for our service users. Engaging with carers and other professionals.
Statutory training will be given first aid, manual handling etc. You will also be required to work a flexible rota, which may include some extended day time hours.
A full UK driving licence is a desirable requirement of this post.
Please note, this is a part time vacancy working 25 hours a week.
