As this is a national role, regular pre-planned travel and occasional overnight stays are expected. The main enforcement hub is in Birmingham, where attendance is occasionally required to maintain visibility, develop investigations, or attend meetings.
The team, The Joint Unit for Waste Crime (JUWC), is a multi-agency taskforce working in partnership to tackle serious and organised waste crime across the UK. It comprises 11 enforcement organizations and 2 industry partners. For more information, visit our website or LinkedIn.
