National Account Manager (Amazon & ECommerce)
Contract- 9-12 months interim
Circa £50-60,000 + benefits
Hybrid- required in the London office 2-3 times per month
Are you ready to shape the future of premium spirits in one of the most dynamic e-commerce channels? We are seeking an ambitious, analytical, and relationship-driven E-Commerce Account Manager to take ownership of a key portfolio of online retail partners—including Amazon, Master of Malt, Whisky World, Hard to Find Whisky, Zap, and other leading pure-play e-commerce customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving, progressive business where you’ll play a central role in accelerating our growth and elevating the online presence of an award-winning spirits portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities
Account Growth & Commercial Delivery
* Deliver against channel revenue targets and KPIs.
* Expand distribution and drive the rate of sales across the portfolio within existing e-commerce partners.
* Lead and negotiate the Joint Business Plan (JBP) with Amazon.
Amazon Ownership
* Manage Amazon reporting, analysis, and profitability assessments, including performance through AVS.
* Oversee Amazon Advertising within agreed budgets, ensuring campaigns align with strategic brand objectives.
Customer Engagement & Support
* Build strong commercial relationships and act as a trusted partner across all e-commerce accounts.
* Provide customer teams with product education and training where needed.
* Keep all customers updated with portfolio news, brand developments, and business updates.
Brand & Promotional Activation
* Develop and manage promotional programmes across all accounts.
* Work closely with brand managers to ensure flawless delivery of brand activations.
* Measure, evaluate, and optimise all activity, continually seeking improvements.
Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work with credit control to ensure customers remain within acceptable credit risk parameters.
* Support wider business initiatives and take on reasonable additional duties as required.
Flexibility
This role sits within a dynamic, fast-growing organisation. From time to time, flexibility outside standard working hours may be required.
Key Skills & Knowledge (Essential)
* Strong experience within the UK premium spirits or alcoholic beverages/FMCG market, with excellent category understanding.
* Direct experience managing Amazon and deep familiarity with its platforms, systems, and reporting tools.
* Knowledge of key trends and shifts shaping the UK spirits retail landscape.
* Ability to build and nurture long-term commercial relationships.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to also tackle short-term issues hands-on.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational capability.
* Strong commercial acumen and customer-centric mindset.
* Sociable, proactive, “can-do” attitude.
Qualifications & Experience
* High level of numeracy with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
