Your new role
The SHEQ Officer will support the Group’s SHEQ strategy, ensuringpliance with legislation, industry standards, andpany policies. This role will be central in promoting a strong safety culture, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence. While initially a fixed-term contract, there is a strong likelihood of the role bing permanent for the right candidate. Key responsibilities include:
1. Championing Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) across the Group.
2. Carrying out audits, inspections, and risk assessments to keep our teams safe andpliant.
3. Supporting incident investigations and ensuring lessons learnt are embedded.
4. Driving sustainability initiatives and monitoring environmental performance.
5. Supporting quality assurance processes to deliver excellence for our clients.
6. Delivering training and engaging with staff to build a strong safety-first culture.
What you'll need to succeed
7. NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) or equivalent SHEQ qualification.
8. IOSH Membership
9. Experience in a SHEQ role, ideally within construction, engineering, or fire safety industries.
10. Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
11. Strongmunication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
12. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and passion for safety, sustainability, and quality
13. Valid UK driving licence
