The Role
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-driven Website Manager to lead the ongoing development, optimisation, and governance of our digital presence. This pivotal role will shape how users experience our website, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with the B&FC brand. You will be responsible for driving improvements to structure, content, functionality, and overall user experience while working collaboratively across teams to ensure our online platforms support students, stakeholders, and strategic priorities.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
As Website Manager, you will be responsible for:
2. Developing and delivering a strategic digital roadmap to enhance website functionality, structure, and user journeys.
3. Managing day-to-day website operations, including content updates, page creation, technical troubleshooting, and quality control.
4. Collaborating with IT teams, curriculum areas, external partners, and internal creators to produce accurate, engaging, and SEO-optimised content.
5. Monitoring analytics and user behaviour to identify improvements and drive data-led enhancements to UX and performance.
6. Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, content governance processes, brand guidelines, and B&FC’s tone of voice.
