Our client is emerging as a real powerhouse in the in the multi-let industrial (MLI) area of the UK and European real estate market. This strong performance has always been driven by a market-leading prop-tech platform and is now bolstered further by private equity backing.
We are looking to expand the in-house Legal Team by bringing in a Contract Managerto assist with the management of legal contracts and other documents.This is a new role for the business, offering the right person the chance to carve out the role and really make their mark across the business.
What will the role involve?
* Assisting with the launch and then ongoing implementation and management of legal contracts and document management plans, procedures and processes (including via the use of technology);
* Managing signatory processes for legal documents, including ensuring compliance with relevant signatory rules, authority levels and other controls; arranging electronic signatures or physical signatures when required;
* Storing signed documents, managing a document library, and extracting key data from completed documents for input into the technology platform;
* Completing KYC and other regulatory checks on counterparties;
* General support to the in-house Legal Team.
What skill-sets are we looking for?
* Previous experience working as a contract manager or document controller;
* Proficient with all main applications in the MS Office environment; someone who is ‘tech-savvy’;
* Excellent organisational and administration skills, combined with a strong attention to detail;
* Team player, pro-active and self-motivated;
* Willingness to work with new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
You will report to a member of the legal team and form part of a friendly, collaborative and supportive legal team and business.
Our client has a hybrid working policy with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
