Responsibilities
The Design and Technical teams are involved in all aspects of housing design and innovation, and are responsible for researching the best materials at the best cost.
* Technical administration and updating of business systems to ensure processes are adhered to.
* Assist supervision of Structural & Civil Engineers, M&E Engineers and Architects, ensuring all information is provided timely.
* Upload information to discharge building control conditions.
* Supply service providers with appropriate information for quotations and proposed layouts.
* Assist preparation of plans and issues to solicitors and other parties.
* Manage technical information and issue to all parties; keep registers up to date with current revisions.
* Attend Pre-Start meetings and ensure handover of information to Construction for site start.
* Attend Site meetings with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects and Site Staff to review design aspects.
* Assist Adoption processes regarding Roads and Sewers with Construction Department.
* General office administration and liaison with other departments.
Qualifications
* Aptitude for learning.
* Excellent communicator, high detail orientation.
* Educated to ONC/HNC in a Built Environment subject or Undergraduate level.
* Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
* Knowledge of major functions within Technical remit.
* Self‑disciplined with good time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to multi‑task, work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
* Team player, supportive of colleagues.
* Competent IT skills including AutoCAD/Revit.
