Associate Electrical Project Manager - Data Centres (Nordics)

Role description: Play a key role delivering tech sector mega‑projects. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. You will lead the delivery of one of our biggest data centre construction projects.
Location and travel: You can be based either 100 % in the country, or you will undertake significant international travel to the Nordics (approximately 11 days on, 3 days off).
Role accountabilities
You’ll manage the electrical packages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre‑construction, construction, and close‑out/fit‑up phases.
Pre‑construction
* Work with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget
* Support contractor pre‑qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations
* Support contract negotiations
* Assist the client and the client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying‑out and scheduling of all owner‑direct vendors and consultants
Construction
* Manage the general contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground
* Coordinate value‑engineering efforts during the construction phase
* Work with the client’s commercial and PCG team to develop budget management and tracking
* Liaise with the client’s schedule management team to provide schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis
Close‑out / Fit‑up
* Initiate the close‑out process two to three months before project completion
* Establish close‑out documentation requirements with the client’s document controller, collecting and tracking all close‑out documents until completion (warranties, as‑built, O&M manuals, etc.)
* Assist with city and/or other authority final inspections and occupancy processes
* Assist the client in scheduling, coordinating and managing all owner‑direct vendors and consultants
Qualifications & Experience
* In‑depth understanding of large‑scale technical projects and construction techniques
* Ability to manage technical disciplines
* Experience working on data centre new‑build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds, would be advantageous
* Ability and willingness to commit to significant international travel
