This is an exciting opportunity for someone relatively new to a Head of role who is seeking an opportunity to scale up or a seasoned Senior Brand Manager from QSR or Retail background.
The Opportunity:
As our Head of Brand & Communications, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and delivering insight-led, creatively disruptive strategies that make people fall in love with our melt-in-the-mouth doughnuts all over again. You’ll lead and inspire a talented team of three, and collaborate cross-functionally across retail, grocery, digital, and innovation to drive brand performance and same-store sales growth.
You’ll be responsible for everything from brand campaigns and PR to paid media and customer insights. We’re not looking for someone who plays it safe, we want a brave thinker, a natural storyteller, and a commercially astute brand leader ready to take Krispy Kreme to the next level in a highly legislated HFSS media landscape.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Define & lead brand and communications strategies that build brand love and drive visibility across channels
• Champion customer insight, ensuring our decisions are rooted in real human behaviour
• Create standout campaigns across paid, earned, and owned media that get people talking (and tasting)
• Collaborate with Product Development to bring exciting new products to market
• Own our brand calendar, from big seasonal moments to disruptive brand partnerships
• Measure what matters, setting KPIs, analysing ROI and evolving strategies based on results
• Lead and inspire your team and agency partners to consistently deliver best-in-class work
• Be the voice of the brand internally and externally, ensuring we show up consistently and with purpose
What we’re looking for:
• 8+ years’ experience in senior brand or marketing roles. Preferably in QSR, Retail or similar
• A proven track record of building brands that connect with culture and convert commercially
• Experience in grocery, retail, and ecommerce channels
• Expertise in managing consumer insight and research, turning data into action
• Strong capability in paid & earned media, with a creative and analytical mindset
• A collaborative leader who builds high-performing teams and strong agency relationships
• A curious, entrepreneurial spirit who challenges the norm and get things done
