Finance Assistant | Perth, Scotland | Full Time, Permanent | Salary up to £32,000 Your new company Hays are pleased to be working in partnership once again with one of our longstanding clients to support in their permanent recruitment requirement for a Finance Assistant. This role will be joining an established small finance team on a full time, permanent basis to become part of their head office team in central Perth. Your new role In your new role, you will become a proactive member of the finance team, positively supporting in the daily and weekly transactional tasks including high volume purchase and sales ledger invoice processing, bank reconciliations, payment runs and dealing with internal queries. You will have an opportunity to get involved during month end tasks too including posting journals, producing financial reports and working closely with the wider finance team to meet strict deadlines. What you'll need to succeed To succeed, you will be a dedicated and driven finance professional who can demonstrate sound knowledge and management of high volume invoice processing and dealing with complex bank reconciliations. You will be expected to manage a varied workload with multiple deadlines across various business units. Previous experience using Xero would be highly advantageous.
