Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with a range of needs, which may include Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), learning difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
* Work with individuals or small groups to support learning, communication, and personal development.
* Assist pupils with personal care, mobility, and medical needs where required, in line with school policies and training.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using agreed strategies and behaviour support plans.
* Support the delivery of tailored learning activities under the direction of the class teacher.
* Adapt resources and activities to meet individual pupil needs.
* Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and confidence.
* Support pupils during lessons, therapy sessions, break times, and school activities.
* Observe and monitor pupil progress and behaviour.
* Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to reviews, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and reports as required.
* Maintain accurate records in line with school procedures.
