We are looking for a Case Worker to join our Integrated Floating Support Service (IFSS) in Milton Keynes, supporting people with a history of rough sleeping, or those at risk, to build stability and independence. The impact you’ll have You will walk alongside clients as they make positive changes to their lives, helping them access housing, benefits, health services, and opportunities in education, training, and work. You’ll empower people to build practical skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and strengthening their resilience. Collaboration is key: you’ll link clients with landlords, local community groups, and, where possible, support them to reconnect with family and friends. The details Contract/Hours: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 9–5) Salary: £25,666 – £27,981 per annum (depending on experience) Closing date: Friday 17th October Interview date: We’ll be holding introduction calls and interviews as applications come in, so we encourage you to apply early as the role may close before the advertised date. About you You have a genuine commitment to supporting people facing challenging circumstances. You’re motivated by making a difference and approach your work with empathy, patience, and determination. You will also have Experience of working with people who have a history of, or are at risk of, homelessness and who may have complex needs, using a trauma-informed and compassionate approach. A solid understanding of housing and welfare benefits, and confidence navigating local services. A calm, resilient, and empathetic manner, with strong listening skills and the ability to find creative, empowering solutions. Confidence with Microsoft Office and good record-keeping and administrative skills. A full driving licence and access to a car.
