🕒 Hours: Full-time office based 8:30-5:00pm Monday - Friday
💼 Contract: Temporary (with potential for extension)
🌟 Temporary Accounts Administrator – January Start (Northampton)
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a friendly and collaborative finance team of 20, you’ll work closely with 6 other Accounts Administrators and report to the Purchase Ledger Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing purchase ledger invoices and data entry
* Matching and allocating purchase orders to invoices
* Creating and managing purchase orders in the system
* Calculating sales commissions
* Bank and account reconciliations
* Handling finance queries professionally
👤 Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you:
* Are currently studying AAT or recently completed a degree (BA/BSc/MA/MSc) in Accounting & Finance (or equivalent)
* Have previous office-based experience, ideally in accounts or data entry
* Are confident using Excel and accounting software (Sage experience is a bonus!)
* Communicate clearly and work well independently
* Have a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
* Can reliably commute to the Northampton office daily
