About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager and lead a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environment. Your focus will be on people leadership, performance management, and operational excellence – with clear progression opportunities into Store Management.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of a department and act as Duty Manager when required.
* Support the Store Manager in delivering KPIs: sales, shrinkage, and wage control.
* Drive exceptional customer service and team engagement.
* Oversee stock control, merchandising, and compliance standards.
* Ensure Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
* Analyse store data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
