Job Description We would like to present you with an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our Health & Safety team at our Banbury site on a full time permanent basis. Salary: £29,000-£31,500 per annum. Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. As a Health & Safety Coordinator you will work closely with our internal Health and Safety, Quality and compliance teams to ensure the company maintains all required certifications (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001) and is legally compliant in all its health, safety and quality activities. Key Duties of a Health & Safety Coordinator: Implementing improvement actions raised in connection with MAH (Major Accident Hazard). Ensuring a suitable risk assessment process to establish MAH scenarios is implemented. Keeping control and records for appointed contractors and planned site maintenance. Managing waste disposal and site hygiene Ensuring that an effective competence management system is maintained. Understanding and maintaining all aspects of a Health and Safety Management System. Ensuring plant and machinery are safe to use and legally compliant. Provide guidance and advice to the region on compliance with all statutory requirements and company standards. Undertake risk assessments relating to SHEQ as required. To support managers in Health and Safety Risk Assessments / COSHH Assessments to ensure that legislative standards are met or exceeded. To participate in Health, Safety and Environmental training for established staff and provide induction training for all new entrants including agency staff. Understanding and advising on current H&S legislation, guidance and best practise.
