A stunning location in the Surrey hills, a Private members club is looking for a strong independant Chef to lead the kitchen serving members for Breakfast, Lunch and some evening dinners.
The right person plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Reporting to the General Manager, with the oversight of an experienced chef you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary creativity, manage kitchen staff, and lead implementation of new menus.
Overall Responsibilities
Work with the Executive Chef to develop the right menus for the location
Lead a team a small team in excellence in quality and service
Oversee the kitchen management and team
HSE monitoring and awareness
Work with the Club House teams, to ensure great customer service at all times.
Skills & Knowledge
Passion for great food
Ability to work efficiently and competently under pressure.
Understand budgeting and expenses
Mange waste and stock loss
Staff training
A natural cook with a flair for developing others
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Hold food hygiene certification.
Ability to work independently and make effective decisions.
Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as needed.
Driver required due to remote location.
