Fire Service Engineer
Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime & oncall (approx. 1 in 7)
Location: North Field Based (Regional office: Leeds, West Yorkshire)
Salary Range: up to £38,000 per annum + overtime

Were looking for a skilled and motivated Fire Service Engineer to join our growing Service & Maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of sectors - including healthcare, education, data centres, manufacturing and finance - while developing your technical expertise.

What you will be doing
In this role, you will:
• Service, maintain and repair a range of fire alarm, detection, suppression and aspirating systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out remedial work to ensure systems remain fully compliant
• Work independently across customer sites in different sectors, providing professional and efficient service
• Complete detailed service reports and communicate clearly with clients
• Represent Senseco with confidence, excellent customer service and a proactive approach
A typical week may include planned maintenance visits, urgent fault calls, system checks, and liaising with customers to ensure their life-safety systems remain fully operational.
Who we are looking for
Were seeking someone who is technically confident, customer-focused, and eager to develop. The ideal candidate will have:
Essential:
• At least 3 years Fire Industry experience
• Experience servicing addressable fire alarm systems
• Installation skills
• Strong IT skills and the ability to use digital reporting tools
• Full UK driving licence
• ECS card (or equivalent)
• FIA or industry-equivalent qualifications
Desirable (but not essential):
• Experience with gas suppression systems
• Experience with aspirating detection
• Security/CCTV/Access Control knowledge
