NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH A LEADING AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE COMPANY FOR A FATIGUE & DAMAGE TOLERANCE ENGINEER
* Circa £46/ph inside IR35
* Initial 12-month contract
* Hybrid role based in Filton
* 35 hour working week over 4.5 days
WHO WE ARE?
We are a globally recognized Aerospace and Defence company, looking to employ a F&DT Engineer to perform Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis and justification of metallic and composite structures.
WHAT WILL THE F&DT ENGINEER BE DOING?
* Approving F&DT deliverables and lead the resolution of F&DT problems through the use of appropriate methods
* Responsible for the technical scope of assigned projects and tasks
* Contributing to engineering solutions and ways of working borne from experience in aerospace, other industries or research environments
* Supporting the development of less experienced team members on both technical and behavioural aspects
WE NEED THE F&DT ENGINEER TO HAVE….
* A background in Aerospace Engineering
* Knowledge of structures engineering and analytical techniques
* Repairs experience would be desirable
* The ability to go through a BPSS check
