What You\'ll Do
* Design & Simulation: Lead the design of earthing systems and perform lightning protection risk assessments (BSEN 62305).
* Site Visits: Conduct testing and inspection of protection systems at substations, power stations, and renewable energy sites.
* Client Engagement: Manage key client relationships, resolve queries, and communicate technical outputs clearly.
* Report Writing: Deliver detailed technical reports and review junior team members\' outputs.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior engineers and graduates to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.
What We\'re Looking For
* Qualifications
* Essential: Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering
* Desirable: Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering
* Experience
* Minimum 5 years\' hands-on experience in earthing & lightning protection design, assessments, and field testing.
* Skills & Attributes
* Proficiency in CDEGS, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
* Strong understanding of UK standards for electrical infrastructure.
* Willingness to travel extensively and work onsite (2-4 nights away/week).
* Demonstrated ability to support and develop junior team members.
* Collaborative, inquisitive, respectful, and highly accurate in technical work.
