Description
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Reconcile balance sheets and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Process invoices and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies.
Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support decision-making.
Collaborate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax returns.
Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
Experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
A recognised accounting qualification or working towards one.
An analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
