Disability Assessor (PIP / WCA) – Luton – Part time hours available
Role Overview
Conduct assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Work Capability Assessment (WCA). Evaluate claimants’ health and work capabilities through phone and face‑to‑face assessments, review medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities, and compile detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Responsibilities
* Interview claimants to understand their health conditions and daily challenges.
* Review medical records and write objective, comprehensive reports.
* Provide recommendations based on thorough assessments.
* Follow DWP guidelines and best practice assessment techniques.
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation for each case.
Training Program
Successful candidates will complete a 12‑week training program covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, and report writing skills.

* Occupational Therapists (Adult‑focused)

Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year post‑registration recent experience in a relevant adult setting.
* At least 1 year of active registration with NMC or HCPC.
* Strong communication and assessment skills.
* Proficient at typing and report writing.
* Excellent IT competency.

Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Full‑time positions available after a full‑time training period.
