We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Van Driver to join our team at our client's busy logistics operation based in Renfrew.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and fast-paced Warehouse team, supporting deliveries and warehouse operations within a small, friendly group.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to combine their van driving and warehouse experience, who are comfortable working with IT systems.
This is a full-time day shift position working weekdays, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm with no weekends required. The pay for this role is £13.80 per hour, paid weekly.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
1. Driving company van up to 4 times per week
2. Delivery scheduling & query handling
3. Dealing with the clients face to face & on the phone
4. Loading and unloading vehicles
5. Assisting team members with picking, packing, and processing tasks to increase overall warehouse efficiency
6. Complying with workplace health and safety measures to minimize operational risk
7. Stock management, replenishment, and rotation
8. Occasional travel to other sites in Glenrothes/Dundee for holiday cover may also be required (transport will be provided for this).
