About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Production Operative to support the site activities necessary to ensure that the manufacturing, Health & Safety, and food safety requirements are met in full, to the company standards as well as the customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure full compliance with all legal, safety, environmental, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
* Maximise the efficiency and output of the stoneground mill while maintaining high product quality and safety.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and external standards (including BRC, HACCP, Health & Safety legislation).
* Monitor quality performance, analyse data, and take corrective actions where necessary.
* Rigorously follow operational procedures and work instructions.
* Provide support to two small packing lines as required.
* Take part in scheduled training, development activities, and general hygiene duties.
* Uphold high hygiene standards through routine and deep cleaning processes.
* Collaborate with the wider team and adapt to support other site functions as needed.
What We're Looking For:
* ISOH certification and/or other relevant Health & Safety training.
* HACCP and/or Food Safety qualifications.
* Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* A flexible and reliable team player with high self-motivation.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Eagerness to learn and develop new technical skills.
* Willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business.
