GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly and inclusive school in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
Role Responsibilities of Learning Support Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering accessible and engaging learning activities.
* Encourage positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and active participation.
* Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual pupils’ needs.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and wider support staff to ensure cohesive support for pupils.
What You’ll Bring as an Learning Support Assistant:
* A relevant Level 2/3 qualification or strong experience supporting pupils in a school setting.
* A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to helping young learners.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
* Confidence in supporting children with additional or complex needs.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
