Search are supporting the recruitment of a Credit Controller to join our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working.. If you're an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys building strong working relationships and looking to join a supportive team, then you'd be encouraged to apply. Your responsibilities will include: * Monitoring aged debt reports and distributing updates to stakeholders * Managing and updating credit control processes with accurate recording * Attending meetings with senior stakeholders regarding outstanding balances * Resolving client queries promptly and professionally * Negotiating and securing payment of overdue or disputed invoices * Liaising with wider teams to revise or amend invoices where necessary * Appropriately escalating unresolved debts within agreed timeframes * Identifying accounts requiring provision for bad debt * Meeting strict deadlines and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function Skills and experience that will benefit your application: * Previous experience in a credit control role * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities * Confident working independently and as part of a team * High attention to detail and accuracy What's in it for you: * A salary of 27k - 32k, depending on experience * Work in a supportive, collaborative finance team * Hybrid and flexible working options available * Opportunities for professional development If you'd like to apply or find out more, please submit your CV at the earliest opportunity and/or get in touch at (url removed).
