We are looking to hire a highly driven Paralegal or Solicitor to join our successful Residential Conveyancing team in Edinburgh.

The Role
We are looking to further strengthen our current team with the appointment of an experienced candidate.
As a Paralegal/Solicitor at Gilson Gray, you’ll be responsible for:
* Acting for clients purchasing their new home from a housebuilder and in the sale of their current property where applicable
* Taking client instructions promptly to ensure progression of missives within required timescales
* Attending meetings and taking notes as required
* Keeping client files up to date regularly, with all correspondence and documents stored appropriately
* Maintaining regular contact with, and sending weekly reports to, housebuilders’ agents to keep all parties informed of progress
* Drafting legal documentation, including reporting on titles to clients
* Handling all aspects of the conveyancing process in purchases, sales, and re-mortgages where applicable
* Managing post-settlement work as required, with support from a Conveyancing Assistant if needed
