Service Manager – Plastics Department (Agency) | Band 8a
Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex (onsite)
Rate: £35.00 per hour (Band 8a – framework rate)

We’re supporting a busy Plastics service and are looking for an experienced NHS Service Manager to provide strong operational leadership and keep performance, delivery, and patient access on track.
Service Manager Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operational management across the Plastics service
*
Drive performance against key targets (access/waiting lists, utilisation, KPIs)
*
Support service improvement projects and implement sustainable change
*
Manage and support admin/service teams
*
Work closely with clinical leads and senior stakeholders to resolve issues quickly
Service Manager Essential Experience
*
Recent NHS operational/service management experience (acute preferred)
*
Strong performance management and reporting skills
*
Confident people management
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
*
Strong IT skills (Excel/reporting)
