Since we started over 10 years ago we have always outsourced our designs. Now, due to continued growth and demand we’re looking to bring our Scaffold Designs in house. We are a fast-growing Scaffolding Managed Service specializing in large scale Residential and Commercial projects nationwide and we know that now is the time to open our very own Design Department.
We are searching for practical engineers who want to see their drawings come to life on-site. Whether you are a seasoned Scaffold Designer or a Graduate with a passion for scaffold, we have a seat at the table for you.
You could be a Senior Scaffold Design Engineer looking to lead the department and you’ll bring:
* The technical authority creating our internal design protocols and CAD standards
* Lead on high-risk, bespoke designs (hanging scaffolds, heavy-duty shoring, temporary roofs)
* Sign off on designs and mentor our junior staff
* Work directly with the Senior Management Team to streamline the flow from Design to Delivery
* Deep knowledge of TG20:21 and BS EN 12811
* Proven track record of signing off complex temporary works
* A hands-on mindset - you know how the sites actually work in practise
You could be a Middleweight Scaffold Designer looking for more autonomy and you would bring the skills to:
* Delivery high-quality 2D and 3D scaffold designs and calculations independently
* Conduct site surveys to ensure your designs are site-ready and practical
* Work with proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software
* Manage multiple projects without needing your hand held
You could be a Graduate Design Engineer with an ambition for learning and a can do attitude bringing the skills to:
* Support with producing CAD drawings and basic calculations
* Learn all there is to know about scaffolding covering loads, wind forces and tying patterns
* Get out on-site regularly to see how your drawings translate to real-world structures
You will need to have:
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* A genuine interest in temporary works
* A positive, spongelike attitude toward learning
In return we will provide:
* A Company Car (or Allowance)
* Unlimited Holiday
* Significant Career Progression opportunities
* A space in a team dedicated to the future and driving our vision forward
If you’re ready to stop being a cog in a machine and want to actually see your designs from concept to delivery send us your CV and Cover Letter.
