Senior Management Accountant - Team Lead, Global Business Services

As a Senior Management Accountant, your primary responsibility is to oversee the integration of newly acquired clinics into the respective RTR systems, processes, and overall ways of working, in collaboration with GBS and Genpact RTR teams.

You will also partner with our local market-based Merger & Acquisition, Local Finance, and Global Acquisition Finance colleagues to ensure that GBS, in partnership with our outsourced provider Genpact, is operationally ready for day 1 trading with any newly acquired clinic for all Record to Report activities.

This role requires full oversight of month-end close execution & reporting, including collaboration with Genpact, GBS Integrations R2R Tower Lead, and GBS Regional Accounting Leads to ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes.

You will work closely with our GBS RTR Global Process Owner and Genpact to drive continuous process improvement, leveraging technology and automation tools to optimize workflows and reduce manual activities, especially for clinics based in MLE.

This key role within GBS ensures alignment with our group strategy for integrating newly acquired clinics, maintaining consistent and efficient balance sheet management, and ensuring month-end close processes comply with IFRS and GAAP statutory requirements.

IVC Evidensia is currently undergoing significant change, and you will need to embrace and drive this transformation. The role demands strong analytical and leadership skills, extensive knowledge of global RTR practices, and the ability to navigate complex balance sheet processes while collaborating across teams in a rapidly evolving organization.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

1. Oversee end-to-end month-end reporting for multiple countries and regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with stakeholder groups.
2. Establish and maintain relationships with country CFOs, Group Finance, GBS, and Genpact management to ensure seamless balance sheet reporting for newly acquired clinics in Canada.
3. Ensure compliance with global policies, regulations, and reporting standards in your region.
4. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of balance sheet reporting.
5. Stay updated with IFRS/GAAP legislation, industry trends, and emerging technologies in global accounting management.
6. Develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs to assess reporting performance for new clinics.
7. Manage relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders for audits and compliance, with support from GBS RTR and Genpact.
8. Provide strategic guidance on balance sheet management for new clinics in partnership with local finance leaders.
9. Participate in professional networks to foster knowledge exchange.


Experience/Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
2. Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
3. Proficiency in a second language, e.g., French, is preferred.
4. Proven leadership in a complex RTR environment, including working with external partners and leading change initiatives.
5. Knowledge of local finance reporting, regulations, and compliance across multiple countries is preferred.
6. Experience managing relationships within a finance reporting environment.
7. Proficiency in finance systems such as Open Accounts, Oracle, Blackline, etc.
8. Strong leadership and people management skills.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
11. Strong analytical skills for assessing financial data and making data-driven decisions.
12. Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality.
13. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
14. Commitment to continuous learning about global finance regulations and best practices.
