RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic growing SME based in Northwich who are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a small finance team and oversee the transactional team, reporting into the Financial Director. The role is a great mix of hands-on involvement and management of the accounts department.

Role Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure strong financial controls
* Lead and support the finance team and act as deputy to the Finance Director
* Prepare month-end journals, trial balance, and consolidated management accounts
* Produce monthly reporting packs with variance and margin analysis
* Consolidate results across UK and overseas group companies
* Drive continuous improvement in finance systems and processes
* Support statutory compliance, VAT, audits, and HMRC requirements
* Manage cash flow facilities
Person Specification
* Proven experienced working as a Management Accountant or similar role within a larger sized SME
* Part qualified CIMA/ACCA and actively studying
* Experience overseeing/managing a small finance team or transactional staff would be an advantage
* Strong IT skills, especially confident in MS Excel
