Main duties of the job
The role of the Facilities Assistant is a combined role delivering Catering & Housekeeping Services within the Cancer Centre working in line with national cleaning standards and food safety legislation.
The successful Candidates will be expected to undertake all the main tasks in line with the Job Description working within the values and behaviours of Velindre University Trust.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, and HACCP food safety management systems
Desirable criteria
* NVQ level 2 in food & drink
Experience

* Previous catering or Cleaning experience, especially in a care environment ward & dining room/coffee shop

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 NVQ Level 2 in cleaning. Willing to work towards the All Wales Facilities Apprenticeship Qualification.

* NVQ Level 2 food & drink
